Welcome to the Pathfinders Page!

When we meet: the second weekend of each month, at 1:00 pm on Sabbath and at 10:00 am on Sunday, in the Family Life Center. Each meeting is 2 hours. In addition there are walks or hikes on the first and third Sabbath afternoons, and the opportunity to join our Homeless Ministry Team on the fourth Sabbath and help distribute care packages.

Pathfinders is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

Founded in 1950, the Pathfinder Club works specifically with the cultural, social and religious education of children and teens. Girls and boys are members of the club all over the world. Though similar in many respects to Scouting, Pathfinders have a stronger Spiritual emphasis on all their activities.

Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:

  • Camping & camping/survival skills

  • Grade appropriate leadership and spiritual training

  • Activities promoting community & involvement through outreach activities

  • Interactive training in a variety of recreational, artistic, nature, conservation, and outreach areas, with awards (honors) given for successful completion of the interactive training modules

  • Personal care and encouragement by caring staff members
