My name is Emory Kelley and for 8 months I had the opportunity to serve in the mountains of a beautiful island in the Philippines called Palawan. While there I worked in a clinic as well as taught in a one room school. I also had the privilege of working with an amazing group of Pathfinders in the village of Kemantian. The Pathfinder ministry is my passion and while I was working with those Pathfinders I began thinking of the various activities that many caring people made possible for me to enjoy during my own experience as a Pathfinder. Activities such as camping trips, conference camporees, teen invitationals and especially the International Camporee in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I began to dream of giving the Pathfinders in Kemantian the opportunity of a lifetime. I want to make it possible for these Pathfinders to be a part of the Believe the Promise International Camporee in Gillette, Wyoming on August 5-11, 2024. If you would like to help this dream come true you can click on the link below for Adventist Giving and be sure to enter your donation under the item “Palawan Mission Opportunity”. https://adventistgiving.org/#/org/ANT8O1/envelope/start
If Pathfinders are unable to go because of visa issues or otherwise, unused funds will go to support the mission efforts serving the indigenous mountain people of Palawan that I worked with.
Our initial fundraising goal is $65,000.
